There are two initial costs for a brand new website that you need to consider: Design fee The design fee is the fee that you pay to us at Websytz to craft a bespoke website for your business. This is a one-off fee for designing your initial website. Details can be found above and will be outlined in my proposal to you, as will all relevant costs. Hosting subscription Websites are created using Wix software and hosted on Wix servers. Wix makes a combined annual subscription charge for these aspects. Wix subscription plans vary depending on the needs of your website and the resources it takes. It is possible to test the water with a FREE Wix plan (see the section below).

There are two ways to get your business hosted by Wix. 1. FREE hosting Wix has a FREE website hosting plan. It doesn't offer a custom domain name like www.yourbusiness.co.uk but your business will get a sub-domain name that looks like https://websytz.wixstudio.io/yourbusiness. It carries Wix Studio-branded advertising, is limited to 500MB of storage and 1GB bandwidth, and has fewer features. Wix Free hosting may be suitable if owning your business domain name is unimportant or you just want to test the water. And it can be upgraded at any time to remove the Wix advertising and connect to your custom domain name. Most businesses however, don't choose this option because the sub-domain URL is harder for visitors to use and remember, and they want their websites to be easy to find, unrestricted and have a professional appearance. 2. Annual subscription (recommended) Wix annual hosting subscription plans are priced to provide the features, storage and security that your website needs. They are competitively priced and start from less than £0.50* per day payable monthly or annually. With a Wix annual hosting subscription plan you can choose a custom domain name, remove Wix Studio branding and enjoy all the security, apps and features that the world-class Wix platform offers.
