Evolve Bikes distributes DIY kits to turn ordinary road cycles into e-bikes.
Lloyd Griffin, Evolve Bikes founder came up with his idea for a business from the simple desire to cycle to work - however, coming from the Pennine town of Halifax in Yorkshire, the only way to feasibly manage his 20-mile round trip was with an e-bike. So he set about sourcing the parts he needed to assemble and market a product that would help anyone with a standard cycle convert it to a electric bike.
The project
The Evolve Bikes project was designed to attract users interested in converting their existing bikes to battery power. The website needed to establish credibility, highlight the ease of installation, and simplify the ordering process.
To achieve this, the site incorporated videos and interactive elements like hover and click areas to present key information. The layout was designed for clear and intuitive navigation, providing all the necessary details to help users determine if the kit was suitable for their needs and compatible with their bikes. Wix Payments was integrated to facilitate seamless online transactions, allowing customers to purchase the kit easily.

The business focuses on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices to produce seaweed, which has various applications in food, cosmetics, agriculture, and other industries.
The project
As a start-up with a tight marketing budget, Norfolk Seaweed recognized the need for a website to maximize exposure and engage with a wide range of audiences for their innovative seaweed farming initiative off the North Norfolk coast.
An informative website was developed in collaboration with Development Director Allie Wharf to educate and inspire diverse audiences. The site features a blog showcasing videos shot by Allie, a former TV videographer, along with compelling images and other materials to keep stakeholders and the community engaged. To support Allie's vision of offering merchandise, an e-commerce shop with payment processing was also integrated
